The question this post raises to the wider Thassos Forum community is why someone wishes to move back to west midlands from Thassos.
Hopefully its just a few bits and pieces and not someone who has tried a new life in Thassos and it has not worked out.

My answer....one word... actually no, 3 words......family & friends. Thassos is still wonderful after a year but we are going back for people....not places.

People move within the UK and move back for family and friends. No better reason.

Thank you for that Tilly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Thassos. It's as wonderful now as it's ever been & we have made lovely friends, who we'll definately be coming back to on a regular basis. My brother in law put it very well when we told him the reason for our decision & l quote: "Ahh, the gravity that science can't explain" A perfect description.
