We hired a car for four days and then for another day right at the end of our holiday. Have to say that it has gone down as one of the best holidays we have ever had and if I hadn't already booked to go to Egypt next year we would be going back in 2012 so a big possibility for 2013.
My only disappointment was Marble Beach. I had seen photos and videos from before the umbrellas were put up and must say it's a beautiful beach but you can no longer see it due to so many sun loungers. There was also very loud music so we didn't stay and went somewhere else.
Loved it though. Think our favourite place we visited was Kazaviti. Absolutely beautiful!!

How sad that Marble Beach has been ruined. Sometimes change is not a good thing.
Stayed at the Socrates in Skala Prinos - Wonderful
Ate at Brians new restraurant - superb
Also at Pizzaria Palatina - A really worm welcoma again from Kristina, she does German, Italian, English and Greek food, had a brilliant greek night there last Friday.
Beware of Potos car hire in Skala Prinos (see my other thread on the forum)
I didnt want to come back and am already looking at booking for next year!

A lot of the beaches are turning into resort type beaches these days. Why they think that very LOUD nice music is cool , I will never know. That''s what Ipods are for.
