Hi, just got back from 2 great weeks in Thassos. First ever visit to any Greek destination. I need look no further, we'll be going back next year, that's for sure!

We stayed at the Suzie Stuios in Skala Potamia. Excellent, budget accomm, just a pity Panos didn't open the pool bar but hey, it was the end of a long season!

Loved the hospitality in the local tavernas and of course the food!

we took a guided walk into the hills around Thossos town. Learned all about Thassos, its history, olives, marble, honey .........

one of our favourite watering holes/dining venues. We are hoping to stay at the Green Sea appartments next year.

One of the Green Sea's best dishes! Chicken, Chicken & Bacon, Lamp & Pork (sometimes one of those was beef) on a bed of white cabbage, carrot and lettuce salad with hand cut fries. Washed down with a Mythos/carafe of wine and followed by a Metaxa. Yum!

Made several stops at the Fedra for drinks and lunch: great food, excellent staff & service, a few wasps around but the guys took care of that with pheramone traps and by burning greek coffee on a stainless steel gravy dish on our table. We smelled like kippers but the food was great and the view awesome!

This is the way I like Thassos the most! Calm and easy!
