Hi Steve. Nice photos! Were you on the Birmingham flight?
You managed to capture Lesley and I waiting to get on the ferry. We are the soggy ones to the left og the black brolly on the right at the back of the cattle herd making our way to the slippery ferry ramp!
We stayed at Skala Potamias in the Suzie Studios. 1st week a bit mixed weather wise. Monday, as you know was great., Tuesday morning we took the guided walk with Rose - facinating, learnt so much about the island. I see you travelled across and enjoyed some Fedras hospitality. Great restaurant - we had a lovely lunch there on that 1st hot Monday.

Pity you only had a week, weather much more setled last week but left the island as we started, in the rain. Only 1 ferry running, high seas (well relatively high for Thassos) and got to airport at thee time we should have been taking off!

Love Thassos, defo going back. Your pics really give a great flavour of the place. here's one of Golden beach.

thanks for the comments. I took a few from the bus I think the tinted windows helped with the affect.

this is another one i took that i have tried to sharpen up with bit more in photo with trees.

I took an old camera this time that I borrowed my other one has
broken.

Here is snap taken from our appartments showing just as sun was rising.

I missed not being able to get on the beach at Skala potamia to take some there at sunrise.

First time I had ventured to the AMPITHEATRE this year.

The pathway was no problem. Well worth a walk up to catch the view.

I tested the strength of the support . It was very strong to take my weight.. Too much larger...before I arrived..
Or was it Fred Elliott.

I also have job as Health and Safety Tester for the condition of the wood on these jetties.. Thankfully this one did stand the test. .
