Welches Mittagessen bevorzugt Ihr/Which lunch do you prefer?
LG

Hi folks,
it's meze day again!
Today I want to introduce a fine biological Feta cheese called THASSOS (oh no, sorry, it is THARROS, but quite similar
).
The cheese comes together with a very good idea of our local bakery, the new Bärlauch-Brot (which means bread with Bear's garlic, Ramson, Wild garlic or however you call this in english...) Toasted and with thyme and Thassos olive oil it is fantastic.
A small tomato salad with pepper, salt and olive oil, nothing else...
The obligatory homemade tsatsiki...
And a wonderful cold and fresh glass of Zagori mineral water from Epirus/Greece.
Plain, but good!

Re: food
Oh, I love this place, too! And how good to see you all (including Jörg and Fedra) taking a break from all the hard work with the railings and banisters.lynne read hat geschrieben:This is the kind of lunch I prefer surrounded by your friends and family what more could you ask![]()

@ Ariane:

...here is another example of a quick done, quick swallowed lunch.
It is a special Italian salad called Insalatina with radish. And there is a handful of these tasty small pork sausages, called Nuremberg style.
Meals like this one I call "the hidden Thassos olive oil lunch", because the liquid gold is inside, even if you can't see it...
Would like to learn more about English, Finnish, Nederlansk, Czech and so on customs of having lunch...
Volker
By the way, the salad farmer has a funny website www.ragogroup.it
