what about the weather on the news?

hi, i'm coming next week in potos for staying 7days in your paradise.

but on TV i hear only bad things about weather in greek islands - storms, fires... is it true?

i'll come on 4th of july and i'll stay in potos... do i have reasons to be afraid regardint the weather?

Don't worry the weather is fine over here there are no fires and there have been no storms, you do sometimes get storms but these usually come at night and the next day it goes back to being hot.

At the moment the probably the only thing likely to burn is yourself if you don't use enough sun tan lotion

We're staying at Maria Hotel through Kosmar.
Been to Thassos once before but stayed in Thassos Town.

Love the island always said we would come back.

i'm planning to visit Thassos at the beginning-middle of September but i'm a bit worried about the weather and the sea temperature.

can anyone tell me if it's still warm enough for a good tan and for swimming?

The sea is probably at its warmest at the beginning of September, and the weather is generally very good.
You get a lot of people who are Thassos regulars in early mid September who have generally been to the island in May/June so its like one big social gathering.
