Sunrise and Sunset on Thassos

It might be three months till my holiday7, but I've already caught my first Thassos sunset via the webcam and it looks great

Where is your favourite spot to catch sunrise and sunset on the island?

Sitting in a beach fronted taverna around past the old harbour in Thassos town and doing two of my favourite pastimes eating Kleftico and drinking Mythos.

August seems so far away for me!

It has to be Karnagio at sunset, listening to chilled music , sipping an ice cold Mythos and checking the progress of the beautiful yacht being built there.

Favourite sunset must be while having a meal at Moyses in Limenas. But some Greek friends took us to a Taverna at Skala Rachoni and the sunset was out of this world, don't know the name of the Taverna though.

My favourite spot for sunsets is at the Kapanti Cafe by the Old Harbour Limenas. But I intend to keep looking in case there is somewhere better.

I agree with sue about Moyses. We are staying in Skala Rachoni this year (approx 8 weeks to go) so I will be able to compare. :

some lovely pictures - hope to have a few of my own in a few months time! Always go looking for the perfect sunset to capture, although don't usually manage so many sunrises!
