There seem to be a lot of Thassos fans living in Yorkshire or close by and an idea was put forward a while ago that we have a get together at the Wakefield beer festival.
I suggest the Saturday afternoon would be the best bet, which would be Saturday 14th October.
If anyone fancies it tickets are now on sale. The session lasts from 11am until 4pm and the tickets are £4 each which includes a souvenir glass.
If anyone's interested but can't get hold of tickets send me a private message and I can sort something out
It's in Lightwaves Leisure Centre these days, not as homely, but still a good do.
Tickets available from loads of places like Lightwaves, probably Town hall, but fav's would be the Red Shed, Fernandes Brewery Taps and other local Camra type pubs. (Help us out on this one Lujie)........
There is a link to Wakefield Camra pages, but I have just tried it and it doesn't work so I have typed out ticket info below, there is alot more info on the Wakefield Camra web site if you want to put it in a search engine.

thanks for the info guys, i must put it on me calendar as i`ve got a memory like one of those things with all the holes in, can`t remember what its called
Its about 34 miles away by road. By train you have to change in Leeds, it takes about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins, then a brisk 10-15 min walk to venue which is at the top side of the bus station. Buses! lost my faith in them years ago.
Come on down! There is plenty of other beverages for you to try and at beer festivals you can drink at your own pace as you are in one place for the duration as Gerry says she doesn't drink beer either but us girls should stick together and it would be nice to meet other Forumnists (hey just thought that word up all by myself).
