As you know smoking is now a bit issue in the UK. I was wondering now that Greece is in the E.U. Will this have an impact over there ? Myself being a non-smoker would welcome it. I have found that where-ever I sit in Bars or Tavernas I end up next to a fat bloke smoking on a big cigar and billowing like a chimney. I would like smoking rooms like the one below to emphasise the stupidness of burning leaves and fanning the pollution into other peoples faces. I,m off my soapbox now and looking forward to next month when I travel over. Smoke or no smoke. Ron.
The Smokers Room

Ah Mythos the genuine article. As recommended by Zeus.
I'm a non- smoker myself, but since most greek blokes smoke i don't think we've got much chance of avoiding the plumes of fag smoke- we'll just have to avoid the fat blokes and hope the skinny ones are non smokers like us. alan.
We were in Lanzarote at New Year and they brought the law in about not smoking while we were there. However, the law was so complicated nobody could get their heads round it and the Spanish took absolutely no notice and carried on as before.

although i`m a smoker and i probably smoke twice as many when i`m on holiday, i like to think i show consideration for non smokers and dont light up in confined spaces
but boy, don`t get near me when i`m on the beach on me sun bed
I don't actually smoke myself but I don't think about it when I'm in a pub or when I'm outside (and on holiday you are outside most of the time). The only thing I would say is it's not very pleasant when you are eating, but I find most smokers tend to be considerate about that.
