Help with Finikes location

Hi , we are stopping at the finikes this year for the 2nd time out of our 8yrs of visiting thassos and need to give the address of the finikes or be able to pinpoint it on a map to our scooter hire company for drop off , could anyone help with this as the location on the thomson website is incorrect and on putting the address given into google maps this also comes up incorrect , thank you for any replies... 9 days and counting

Hi Marie,

Not sure I'd be accurate enough here. What I would suggest is a visit to facebook as there are a lot of people who love Thassos on there.
If you don't do fb, just answer to that effect here and I'll enquire on your behalf.

Why not hire a scooter from Babbis at "ontwowheels" in Thassos town - its about 100 yards from Finikes on the corner! If you're real nice you might get some fresh fish! We did.

Many thanks Daza , we know we could hire it more locally but have used the same one for 8 yrs now and have become good friends , so much so that he invited us back in november last year to go tuna fishing with him lol...we couldn't make it but who knows in the future , would be a great experience

I put a link to this on Facebook. I would think that some helpful people will respond. It might help if they knew where you are hiring the scooters from.

Sorry for the delay took my OH sailing for the weekend at fleetwood for his 50th ...we fly 3rd august from manchester....up north lol

Thanks Mick , yes we may well see you, i seem to remember you go at around the same time as us , you cannot miss my OH he is 6ft 3" with hair the same colour as philip scholfield lol and i'm the shorter one with NO grey hairs ha ha

well not after i've pulled them out ....no worries , if i can't pinpoint it for him ill give him the finikes phone number i'm sure they can direct him , thanks for all your help it's much appreciated ...off to finish the packing , clean the budgie out , clean the fish out , clean the house oh and have a hair cut...jeez i will be getting grey hairs lol
