Has anybody ever been in Pachis Beach hotel?)[/b]

Thompsons had it on their books a few years ago but only for the one season. Talking to people who stayed there they said it was "dated & basic" We heard that it is due to be demolished this winter & a new luxury hotel built in its place (maybe someone has more upto date news) It is one of three sister hotels on the island others are the Med & Four Seasons & website showed a computer generated tour of the new hotel. (think the website was www.thassotel.gr tho might be only one s)

When We were told it was due to be demolished this winter,the new hotel would be built following demolition & could be ready for the 2014 season. (We had previously heard it was due to be demolished back in 2010 & nothing happened) so I think it is a wait & see what happens scenario.

I was there svome 4 years ago. Accomodation is very modest, small rooms, no TV, no internet, but I liked it very much, because od great sea view, and the fact that it is on the beach. The food is also very modest, but the price is unbeleivable low for this hotel. If you are not the person who need the luxury I recommend it
