manchester passengers ferry time

hi, anybody know what the time of the ferry is that Thomson put there Manchester passengers on ?

I have heard there is a ferry boat on a Sunday at 3p.m then the next one is not until 5p.m is this correct ?

The ferry times vary month to month, getting more frequent as the high season approaches. For June there is a ferry leaving every hour on the hour. It depends when you are coming. if July, it will probably be more often. If September, less. I don't know what Thomsons do, but my guess is they collect all their chickens from the airport and get them to Keramoti asap, putting them on the next ferry.

The timetables are confusing. There are 2 companies and each publish their own times, which alternate on even and odd days. Effectively this means there is a ferry going in every slot (ie in June, on every hour), but the 2 companies alternate. That is probably why you heard there would be 2 hours to wait. That's what it looks like if you only read one company's timetable. It just means the other company fills in the mid slot.

hi, was there in may, missed the ferry boat by 2 mins after driving from thessalonika. again i know about the ferries as regards times of the year. we have a house in skala rachoni and have been out virtually every month of the year over the years,it was just on this occasion looking at thassos ferries time table for july on a sunday it says 3p.m then 5 p.m. cant seem to find any other info regarding the alternative ferry company. the ferries used to be very inexpensive and frequent. austerity perhaps. thanks anyway,regards vinnie

Hi Vinnie,

We were out there a couple of weeks ago (for our 15th visit!) . The Manchester flight usually aims to get the 3pm ferry from Keramoti.

Flight was on time and there was plenty of time for a Mythos or two on the harbourside before boarding!

This will be our 5th visit to thassos from manchester and the ferry was always around the 3 -3.15 pm mark BUT we have noticed thomson this year have changed the flight times by 40 mins later so not sure which ferry it would be....maybe best to ask thomson

just been last week, boiling hot! Went from Manchester.
Think we got 3pm ferry from Keromoti but bus driver was a bit steady so didnt get to Potos till nearly 5.30pm.
Dont pack a lot coz it was roasting last week, you wont need much! Hottest we've ever known, it was our 18th year visiting Thassos & we nearly melted. The sea was fab to cool off & the beer helped too! wx
