Greek nights

We.re staying at golden beach this year ,for the first time .though it is our 9th visit to Thassos can't wait till 20th May . Wondered if anybody could tell us if there any places in Golden beach that have Greek nights .

Hi there

For a greek night that I think you are referring to, you probably want to book an excursion provided by one of the tour operators like Thomson. We went on one 7 years ago through Thomas Cook I think and they take you off Makryamos.

In Golden Beach, the closest thing is Vigli Taverna has a Greek Dancing show,. At the Restaurant Green Sea, between Golden Beach & Skala Potamia, they have live Greek music which is very good and you're free to get up and dance.

That's as close as you'll get I think, and we tend to go to Golden Beach every year so that's up to date info (although we cannot go this year due to a new arrival in the family, sob sob - for the holiday, not the arrival!)

There are real Greek nights at Theologos and there is the Bolero nightclub between Limenaria and Potos.

There are traditional greek nights at the Drosia in Rachoni,and it is not a put on show,all the locals dance there,all the others are for tourists enjoy,,,,,,,,
