First Visit

Hello

Me and my wife are visiting Thassos for our 1st wedding anniversary in August. Is there anything that would be "musnt-miss" in a weeks holiday? Is it worth hiring a car? Is driving easy enough?

Hi yes it's very easy to drive on Thassos you can drive around the outside of the island in a little over an hour. Not only that but you can drive inland where some of the views are stunning and visit some of the more remote beaches.
A car is not essential but you will be able to see so much more even if you only hire a car for a couple of days.

we love a Aliki Bay. THE Monastary is another good place fantastic views from there. the villageds have some great views and mountain springs running through them.

Aliki is also one of my favourite beaches lying back in the sun watching among other things the round the island boat trips come and go.
