Euro Exchange
When we were in Limenas last year we found the exchange rate to be much better than at home - does anyone know if it's the same this year?

Hi All
Have to agree with Gerry and Susie, I often change money at the same shop with my old friend Tsiftsif or George! I have known him for 23 years as he used to be the Greek manager of a tour company that I used to work for in 1984 and the rates are generally the same and sometimes better than the banks.
He speaks incredible English and you would think he was from the Home counties and not Thassos
a real gentleman.

Hi all,
Thanks for your replies.
We usually change all our money at home because I don't want to waste holiday time looking for a good exchange rate - but, last year my friend gave me some english money to buy something for her and we got 6 cents per pound more in the small jewellery shop at the harbour than we got at home - that would amount to quite a few extra drinks. I think we'll wait till we get there this year.
Suzie - yes we'll be staying at Antigone again this year, you were right with your recommendation last year, we had a lovely time.
Gerry - Hope you manage to get booked, I'm sure you will.
