Does any one no if there is a nice traditional giros place in potos , you no lots of grills , GYROS, local wine

Hi, i only know one place in Potos with SELFMADE Giros and that is:

Hakuna Matata on the mainstreet opposite the cash point.

hey,

gyros is definately not a traditional food of greece. the same is with the turkish döner.

both were invented in germany

döner was created by a türkish man in berlin.......

gyros made also his first steps in germany by greek people.

my first visit in greece was about 1977 and nobody knows about gyros.......

but don't mind, the best gyros now you will find in limenas in a very small shop at starting the shopping street on the right side.

thanks for info , most places we have visited have always had a traditonal gyros place and we have been coming to greece for over 20 years ( best one ever was in crete ), they are part of the donor family which was invented in Bursa in the 19th centuary .

Steffi is absolutly correct, Nicos will sort you out with gyros. However if the daily special is lamb stew you must try.

If you are in Skala Potamias the BEST gyros is at Lena's which is a small place near to The Beach Shop, she grills the bread so its not dripping in fat like some. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
