Holiday advise wanted

We have already got flights booked for next year to Thessaloniki,but was thinking of staying in Kavala for 4 nights then moving on to Thassos for 10 nights, is this feasible?
Any advice on places to stay, accommodation etc.. Would be appreciated,

We always stay at the Galaxy hotel on the harbour in Kavala when we stay there, which is virtually every time we fly back to England from Thess. The hotel is in a beautiful position and the views from the restaurant up on the roof are stunning. You can get good deals if you book it on-line.

hi, try the hotel royal. 5 mins from thess airport. fantastic. set up in the hills. sea view rooms look over the bay and the airport. lovely place. we stayed there this year. first drinks on the hotel. small restaurant, nice breakfast. pool etc. regards, vinnie

Agree about the Galaxy, and Kavala has more than you'd think to offer

Agree, Galaxy is a very nice hotel, stayed there for a night before catching ferry, recommend sea view room, breakfast is pleasant too!

Hotel Royal At Thessaloniki is perfect for relaxing before flight back - lovely hotel with good food!
