New Animal Charity on Thassos

Hi Everyone

As you can see by the title of this topic there is a new charity here on Thassos that I have become involved with, our aim is to help animals in need, we do not have a "sanctuary" as we intend to try and control the population of cats and dogs and where possible find new homes for them whether it be here on Thassos or in another country, we are being helped by several other charities abroad and at the moment it is running quite successfully, in the past few months we have neutered quite a number of stray cats and found new homes for around 20 dogs and puppies, we have a few volunteers who help foster dogs and puppies but we would like to have a few more if possible, so if anyone is interested in helping in any way shape or form please contact us on our webpage/facebook page.

We are also looking for flight partners so if anyone is coming here and would like to take a dog/puppy/cat/kitten to a new home please contact us
