5 weeks to go!

Arrive in Thassos in 5 weeks and cannot wait. have not been for about 15 years, but loved it so much the previous 4 times we visited we had to return.

Used to sit in Anonymous listening to really good music sipping a cold Amstel with Mike and Vasso or in just chilling full moon bar! I know these are no longer there but am sure there are some lovely places opened since to sit and just watch the world go by.

Also remember popping in for a glass of wine with Val from leather lane in his shop before hitting the town - lots of fond memories!!

Will be very different this time as we have our 3 year old daughter with us (who is more exited about flying for the first time than the actual holiday). Is going to be quite an adventure as we fly into Thessaloniki and spend our first night in Kavala before heading down to Keramoti for the ferry the following morning to our accomodation in Thassos town.

Well it's now 4 weeks, 6 days, 19 hours and 35 minutes til our flight, not that I'm counting them down or anything!!

We also fly in 5 weeks, we fly from Manchester to Thessaloniki also, but we are driving straight to Keramoti for the ferry as we cannot wait to return to Thassos, it will be our 5th time in 5 years.

Pedro and Adi - Just an observation but the holiday counters under your messages don't match up with your calculations for your holidays. Is it the machine that is in error? Whatever, have a great time. We're headed out there on Sunday and with a bit of luck the weather will have improved somewhat. Thats 6 days. When I send this I'm going to check the holiday counter under my message to make sure it's working properly. Daza

Just checked our holiday counter and it's spot on. We prefer the sound of 85 sleeps though
We are doing the 'Saloniki flights too and, like you pedroandjen, we are spending the 1st night in Kavala, something we've never done before.

am staying at the Galaxy in Kavala and then the Royal in Thessaloniki for the flight back.

Looking forward to spending the night in both cities as I have only ever visited them on fleeting day trips.

We are over for 3 1/2 weeks from 16 June until July 10 so a couple of nights away won't be a problem.

Adi, Go into Calendar at top of this page. On right of Calendar page is the german word LOSCHEN. This means delete. Delete your incorrect holiday and add the correct one.

Mind three weeks sounds better than five.

Hi There

Mike & Vasso are still in Thassos town, Mike is working in the Old Harbour selling the tickets for the boat trips, Vasso is also working in town.
I used to work for them in Anonymous & The Full Moon.
(Not the same without those 2 places IMO) Karantin & Remezo in the old harbour are great places to sit and watch the world go by, also great for sunsets.

Must have bumped into you on previous visits as we were in one of those two every night.

Can't believe they are not there anymore, loved anonymous so laid back and inevitably I would end up in the nightclub in the square with
Mike at 2 in the morning at least once during my holiday!,

Had the best spanakopita ever made by Vasso (managed to get the recipe from her on our last visit many many moons ago) still didn't taste the same!

Well only 4 more weeks and we are there, will try karantin & remezo, always loved the old harbour - can't wait
