We are over on 9th and have e-mailed the ferry company re - November timetable. They replied that they are running and the new timetable will be posted at the end of this month. Hope that helps.

Try POTOS cars, available from the airport. Usually you have to rent them from the duration of your stay. The alternatives are not always as cheap as they seem, insurance cover is poor and the extra premium for full cover can be huge ! Alternatively catch a bus from Thess. to Kavala and rent somethi...

I read about this a couple of years ago on a Greek web site but I forget the link now. Anyhow it's not 'new' news but a good story. !

I have a feeling the luggage allowance differs from package to flight only. We are arriving via Thessaloniki this Saturday, usually manage to get the last ferry without a problem. Will have a Mythos for you guys.

Great to see the webcam fixed, thanks Wolfgang. Still looks like great weather over there, should be over again in November. Hope there is still a bit of sunshine left then. Meanwhile the camera view will do nicely.

Apart from being a little quieter, you will not see a change. Fuel is more expensive but hey, isn't it everywhere ? Not sure I agree with last post comments, best not to take on third hand info in my experience. You will have a great time.
