Booked our flights a month ago. Thassos is like a giant magnet so alas once again come September it's gonna be Panagia here we come.

On the main road a couple of hundred yards outside Panagia towards Potamia.

A few obviously pulled over and had a look but most just seemed to carry on with whatever it was they were doing. Of course some may've been unaware of what was happening.

Thanks it was quite a surreal welcome, everybody just going about their business while the 'twister' supped a hundred yds off Golden Beach!!!

The local fishermen usually head out about five, half five. Luckily for them this appeared about four o clock otherwise it could've been carnage.

Can you imagine it, there could've been fish everywhere!!! LoL

Depends on what you like but I would certainly try to see as much of the island as possible. So many great beaches, so many fantastic views especially from inland a little so maybe even hire a car for a couple of days during which time you'll be able to cover most of the island.
