My answer....one word... actually no, 3 words......family & friends. Thassos is still wonderful after a year but we are going back for people....not places.

We always stay at the Galaxy hotel on the harbour in Kavala when we stay there, which is virtually every time we fly back to England from Thess. The hotel is in a beautiful position and the views from the restaurant up on the roof are stunning. You can get good deals if you book it on-line. Enjoy!! :)

My husband is moving over to Thassos on 28/08 & we are looking for a washing machine. Is there anyone moving back to the UK for example who has a second hand one for sale? Any ideas anyone
