There are traditional greek nights at the Drosia in Rachoni,and it is not a put on show,all the locals dance there,all the others are for tourists enjoy,,,,,,,,

to gardenia ,sorry but ilias never had zorbas .yannis lusso was the owner of zorbas.and he still runs zorbas center,also a great place to eat,

You dont say where you will be staying,But in thassos town there are two guys that will take you out,One is vassili you will find his boat oppisite symi taverna in the old harbour,The other is nicos is boat is about 30meters from other.ENJOY

What next.steak and kidney pie.Why come to greece and not eat the local food.and why go to an english bar.

those of you going to thassos on may1 may11 check with your travel agent.there may be a general strike.

take the road to makryamos.when you reach the entrance to the hotel.take the dirt road on the right and just keep going....happy holidays

I SAY AGAIN THERE IS NO NEW TAVERNA IN RACHONI.THE ONLY NEW BUILDING IS THE EXTESION TO RACHONI BAY HOTEL.MABYE THE MED IS MAKING A NEW DINING ROOM DOWNSTAIRS

There is no new taverna.the hotel is qffering full board.and as for the land next door.that belongs to rachoni bay.which now has a new extension. happy holidays

dont class all eastern europeans as rude,most are well behaved and are welcome in thassos,they have as much right to a holiday as anyone else.there are also some ill behaved british that come to thassos,................putting the record straight/
